" I’m delighted to be returning as Chair of Judges for the 2026 APAs and to have the chance once again to hear the extraordinary range of work being created across UK podcasts and audio. What I love about these awards is that they truly put the spotlight on the people behind the work. The ones who agonise over the edit, who fight to tell a story that changes the way we look at the world, those who know the right voice in the right moment to leave us in tears on the train - laughing or crying. This craft deserves to be celebrated, and those passionate individuals to be championed. To every judge, thank you for your time and passion. I would urge you to listen generously, with an open mind, and let your experience and instincts guide you. I can’t wait to hear what rises to the top this year in what is sure to be a hugely competitive field. "
